S&A Goes Racing
Rob Brown who works in the drawing office of our Fabrications Division has been given a handful of cash to persue his dream of becomming an award winning motorbike racer.
Rob has been racing for 6 years now, and having come second in the Formula 600 Championship in 2008, and then being invited to participate in a support race for the World Superbikes when they raced at Donnington in 2009 looked to be on the up until he had a serious crash at the end of 2009 putting him off work for a month and almost ending his motorcycling career.
Through sheer determination, and nodoubt, a little luck Rob will be back in the saddle in 2010 competing in the NEMCRC Championships defending his Formula 600 title and aiming at 1st in the open championship. He will also be competing in the Thundersport GB Championship where he is looking for a top 5 placement.
All at S&A wish Rob the very best of luck and look forward to cheering him on when he competes at Crof later in the year.
