Geoff Simpson and John Allinson who still own and run the business today, set up Simpson and Allinson Limited in 1978. The company has been manufacturing steel framed buildings ever since, keeping up to date with the latest innovations.
We believe that as well as the excellent standard of our buildings, the success of the company is much attributed to the dedicated team of people who work day in - day out, with farmers, landowners, architects and business people, making sure that their every need is looked after and that the product is designed around the end users requirements.
We design, manufacture and erect a wide variety of steel framed buildings that fulfill a number of applications in the industrial and agricultural sectors.
Our scope of work ranges from cattle sheds to car showrooms, hay barns to blast shelters, these can be undertaken on a design and build basis or interpreting a consultant design.

Several North East-based rural enterprise companies are celebrating this week after the Cross Lanes Organic Farm Shop at Barnard Castle, County Durham, part-designed and built by S&A Fabrications, was named ‘Building of the Year’ at the first ever Farm and Agricultural Buildings awards.
